Skeletal Donation

Founded in the 1980's, the Maxwell Museum's Donated Skeletal Collection serves as a Donor skeletons are housed in the Laboratory of Human Osteology and are open to approved researchers from across the globe, as well as being utilized in UNM courses covering anthropology and human skeletal anatomy.

The skeletal remains of our donors are regarded with the utmost respect and we are thankful for donors who provide this invaluable opportunity.

In order to donate, you must complete and submit all three forms (Deed of Gift, Donor Information Form, and Casting Permission Form). The forms can be mailed to the Museum or faxed to 505-277-1547. We cannot accept emailed documents officially (though you can send them in advance to confirm information.)
