Collections

The Laboratory of Human Osteology houses four distinct collections. Access to the Documented Collection is determined by the Collections Manager through the submission of a Research Request. The Economedis Collection is available online, and access to redacted patient files are available with IRB approval and permission from the Collections Manager. The Forensic Collection is accessible only with permission from OMI. The Archaeological Collection is subject to NAGPRA and is not open to researchers, with the exception of confirmed historic cemetery sites.
